SAP S/4 PRODUCTION ISSUE ANALYST (HYBRID-CHARLOTTE, NC)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative SAP S/4 Production Issue Analyst to support the identification, review, and resolution of production issues within our SAP S/4 HANA environment. This role will serve as a key liaison between product teams, production support, and change management, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently while maintaining system stability and adherence to governance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Issue Review & Analysis
- Monitor, triage, and review SAP S/4 production tickets raised by end users and support teams.
- Assess issues to determine severity, impact, and appropriate resolution paths.
- Document findings and recommend next steps for remediation.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with SAFe Agile product teams to align production issues with ongoing sprint priorities and backlog management.
- Work with the Production Support team to validate incidents, root causes, and temporary fixes.
- Engage the Change Management team to ensure proper governance, approvals, and communication for system changes.
- Resolution Path Identification
- Evaluate whether issues can be resolved via configuration changes, development enhancements, process adjustments, or user training.
- Define escalation paths for complex or cross-functional issues.
- Track progress from issue identification to closure, ensuring SLAs and compliance standards are met.
- Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions to minimize repeat incidents.
- Provide input to process improvements, system enhancements, and knowledge base documentation.
- Contribute to retrospectives with Agile teams to strengthen production stability practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Understanding of SAP S/4 HANA modules and integration points preferred
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments and collaborating across product teams preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL or production support frameworks, including incident, problem, and change management.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, with the ability to translate technical issues into business context.
Preferred Skills
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA).
- Background in large-scale ERP implementations and support.
- Knowledge of compliance and audit practices for system changes.
