Job Summary

NOW HIRING: SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER TO JOIN OUR DYNAMIC TEAM

We have an opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to join our Fresh & Ready Food Group, based out of our Charlotte, NC office. This is a hands-on role supporting four food manufacturing sites within our Fresh & Ready Food Group network. You will play a critical role in shaping culture and strengthening HR practices across the business. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role serves as the primary business partner to site leadership while leading a team of HR Generalists and Recruiters across the locations. The position provides both strategic leadership and tactical support in talent management, recruiting, legal compliance, policy administration, employee relations, and organizational planning. This position requires travel of up to 30% to support the sites.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead and develop a team of HR Generalists and Recruiters across four sites.

Formulate and communicate Human Resource policies and procedures.

Oversee all aspects of employee relations; ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently.

Provide consultative and hands-on support to managers and supervisors across four manufacturing sites.

Partner with leaders at all levels to drive effective coaching, employee engagement, and retention.

Maintain employee records and reporting processes to ensure accurate data and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Manage HR operating budgets and recommend investments that enhance workforce productivity.

Develop and implement innovative recruitment and retention strategies to reduce vacancies and turnover.

Lead the design and delivery of training programs, including orientation, safety, and management training.

Support site-level employee engagement activities and events.

Qualifications desired:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field required.

8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or business partner role within a manufacturing, food production, or distribution environment.

Proven experience supporting multi-site operations with a workforce that includes both hourly and salaried employees.

HR professional certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Hands-on leader who is visible, proactive, and actively engaged with both employees and leadership.

Experience leading and developing HR teams, including Generalists and Recruiters.

Ability to influence, lead change, and model positive behaviors that support business performance.

Strong project management, time management, and communication skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a priority requirement

Ability to travel up to 30% to support assigned sites.
