Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst who is looking to grow with a great company.  This position will leverage their strong financial, business and analytical skills to partner with key stakeholders to promote financial best practices in line with B&I standards.

 

The candidate will support the B&I Finance Team, Leadership and Sectors through monthly reporting/consolidation, ad-hoc analysis, and data analytics. The role will focus on financial reporting, modeling and analysis to determine financial opportunities and efficiencies that benefit the sectors. 

 

Your role will also support the development and maintenance of the data infrastructure platforms and promoting effective data practices. This role is based in Charlotte, NC on a hybrid schedule.
 


Responsibilities: The great things you’ll do
•    Provide recurring financial reporting and analysis to B&I Leadership necessary for them to accomplish their business objectives.
•    Works closely with Field Finance teams to provide recurring analysis and support 
•    Track and report on key initiatives and present results to leadership.
•    Track and accurately report on Financial Incentive Plans on a period, quarterly, and yearly basis.
•    Support ad hoc data analysis and projects related to client data, relationships and vendor spend.
•    Maintain and develop data infrastructure, databases, etc. required for reporting.
•    Streamline and implement automated processes and/or process efficiencies to increase accuracy, efficiency or effectiveness of daily activities.
•    Develop, implement and manage new reports as requested.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
 


Qualifications: 
•    2+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or similar work
•    Bachelor’s degree required – Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
•    High level of proficiency in Excel, Essbase and Access - experience with PowerBI a plus, SAP experience preferred.
•    Knowledge of data modeling, relational database structures, and ability to mold large datasets from multiple sources.
•    Proven track record of creating robust analysis that translates into business decisions.
•    Detail oriented - able to validate the accuracy of one's own deliverables.
•    Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•    Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
•    Strong team player with a collaborative attitude and ability to work cross functionally.
•    Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple tasks and to prioritize in a fast paced, very high-growth environment - Able to shift priorities for self and team on short notice.
