Job Summary

Join us in transforming healthcare services through thoughtful, user-centred design. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll create digital tools that seamlessly integrate into hospital workflows, directly impacting patient care and provider efficiency. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and technology, designing solutions that make a meaningful difference in clinical environments.

What You'll Do

● Immerse yourself in healthcare environments to deeply understand the workflows, pain points, and needs of clinical and non-clinical staff who will use your designs.

● Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial problem definition to successful solution delivery.

● Create comprehensive design solutions, including conceptual sketches, detailed wireframes, and production-ready Figma files that translate complex workflows into intuitive digital experiences.

● Bridge digital and analog workflows by designing interfaces that complement existing clinical processes without disrupting established care patterns.

● Build and evolve design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across all product touchpoints while maintaining healthcare-specific compliance requirements.

● Champion accessibility and inclusive design to ensure solutions work for all users, regardless of ability, technology comfort level, or work environment constraints.

● Explore and implement AI-powered design tools to enhance workflow efficiency, research capabilities, and creative output while maintaining focus on user needs.

● Contribute to strategic product decisions by connecting design insights with business objectives and healthcare outcomes.

What We're Looking For

● Ownership and resilience - You take full responsibility for your work and thrive when navigating complex, ambiguous challenges typical in healthcare environments.

● Balanced approach to craft - You know when to invest in pixel-perfect details and when to prioritize speed and functionality, in an agile environment where we prioritize delivery.

● User-centered healthcare passion - You're genuinely excited about improving healthcare experiences and understand the unique constraints and opportunities in clinical settings.

● Systems thinking - You design with scalability in mind, creating solutions that work across different departments, devices, and use cases within healthcare organizations.

● Growth mindset - You actively seek feedback from clinical users and continuously refine your approach based on real-world healthcare insights.

● AI curiosity - You're interested in how emerging AI tools can enhance both your design process and the healthcare solutions you create.

● Clear communication - You can articulate design decisions to diverse stakeholders, from clinicians to executives, and advocate effectively for user needs.

Required Experience

● 4-7 years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating user-centered solutions for complex domains

● Proven track record with complex systems design in healthcare, enterprise software, or similarly regulated industries

● Deep expertise in design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design with an understanding of compliance requirements

● Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working closely with product and engineering teams in agile environments

● Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools including prototyping and user testing platforms

● Excellent communication and presentation abilities with experience presenting to stakeholders and clinical audiences

● Self-directed work style with the ability to manage complex projects independently while staying aligned with team goal

Preferred Experience

● Healthcare or regulated industry experience with digital products used in clinical or food service environments

● Knowledge of healthcare standards including HL7/FHIR, HIPAA compliance, or other healthcare technology frameworks

● Experience with AI-enhanced design workflows or interest in exploring how AI can improve healthcare user experiences
