Job Summary

With the ever-changing needs of the modern retail environment, Rank + Rally leverages technology and analytics expertise from Levy’s DBK Studio and Compass Group’s E15 to drive revenue, innovation, and guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and oversee seasonal merchandise buy budgets aligned with sales goals and brand objectives.
  • Monitor and adjust open-to-buy (OTB) dollars to ensure optimal inventory levels throughout the season.
  • Create and implement markdown strategies to facilitate effective inventory liquidation, minimizing excess stock while maximizing profitability.
  • Collaborate with buying, merchandising, marketing, and venue operations teams to forecast demand, plan stock levels, and respond to sales trends and promotional activity.
  • Identify and address potential inventory issues proactively to prevent overstocks or stockouts.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, aging, and stock levels to ensure effective inventory flow and availability.
  • Generate performance and inventory reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support end-of-season inventory reconciliation and year-end planning, including clearance strategies.
  • Stay current on sports retail trends, fan engagement initiatives, and e-commerce best practices to optimize product assortment and presentation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory planning / forecasting within a retail environment.
  • Experience with retail POS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to use quantitative and qualitative information to make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
  • Experience with sports retail, venue retail environments, or licensed merchandise.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital advertising, and omnichannel retail strategies.
