Job Summary

Operations

  • Fosters strong relationships with operations by making accessibility and responsiveness a priority
  • Participates in the execution of goals, objectives, policies and priorities of all premium department activities
  • Follow Levy standard steps of service
  • Ensure show quality standards are maintained at all times through effective display and merchandising
  • Ensure appropriate teaming levels and inventory levels are maintained throughout the event
  • Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
  • Establish rapport with guests and team members
  • Ensure guest expectations have been met and exceeded at all times
  • Execute all security, safety, responsible alcohol service and sanitation standards
  • Deliver catering menu items and staging equipment to events
  • Check the accuracy of orders for loading/delivering: food items, beverages, and equipment
  • Coordinate and communicate event logistics and details with other departments
  • Manage opening and closing checklists, ensuring all tasks are completed
  • Prepare event paperwork, completing pull sheets, event packets, pre-shift notes
  • Ensure completion and entering event beverage yields
  • Coordinate and communicate event set-up and breakdown to team and/or leads
  • Conduct inventory 
  • Supervise operations team members daily and at designated events
  • Supporting event team members, assisting in event preparations, staging, set-up, and tear-down
  • General cleaning duties for the department and facility
  • Manage rental equipment ensuring necessary items are delivered and returned
  • Assist other operational leaders as needed
  • Other duties assigned to make the team successful

Controls

  • Can effectively communicate event expectations and follow timelines
  • Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Levy systems (Point-of-Sale, Reserve cloud and more)
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices
  • Follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies
  • Assists in completion of required department reports in a timely manner

Team

  • Fosters strong relationships with Premium Managers and Operations (culinary, set-up and facilities)
  • Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
  • Displays a positive attitude towards team members

Job Requirements

  • Able to communicate with management team, guests, clients and team members by speaking and comprehending English
  • English reading, writing, math and computer skills required
  • Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
  • Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
  • Possible hazards include, but are not limited to slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
  • Stamina to work 30 hours or more per week
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
  • Lifts and transports items up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling
