Job Summary
Oversees banquet and catered event operations to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient execution, and compliance with company standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise banquet staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
- Ensure events are executed according to BEOs, client expectations, and operational standards.
- Assign responsibilities, provide direction, and support team members throughout events.
- Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details to staff.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with culinary, catering, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Assist with training, coaching, and development of banquet team members.
- Complete event documentation and communicate operational concerns or service opportunities to leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous banquet, catering, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds during events.
