Job Summary
As the Catering Supervisor you will assist in the daily operations of the Catering department for NBA games, Concerts and Internal/External events.
Detailed Responsibilities:
* Coordinates catering team member schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion. Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Manager
* Determines workload requirements from catering orders
* Meets with functions group leaders to discuss setup arrangements; addresses last-minute changes and resolves problems
* Interacts with guests and resolves client feedback in a service-oriented manner
* Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items
* Instructs team members on work expectations for catered functions
* Helps team members set up rooms to desired specifications
* Assembles and delivers F&B items to scheduled locations
* Assists with serving food and beverages to guests as needed
* Breaks down food, beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering department
* Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows Levy’s Food and Safety standards
* Ensures proper food preparation by following approved recipes and production standards
* Displays a positive attitude towards team members
* Ensures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbook
* Demonstrate physical stamina/agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
* Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50lbs
* Performs other duties as assigned.
