Job Summary:

The Portfolio Analyst supports Data Intelligence operations through analytics, reporting, portfolio support, data governance, and process improvement. This role partners across Account Management, CRM, Supply Chain, Finance, peer data management teams, and leadership to deliver actionable insights, maintain data integrity, improve efficiency, and support scalable business processes.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and motivated by using data and technology to solve business problems.

Responsibilities:

Analytics, Reporting & Insight Delivery

  • Analyze operational, customer, hierarchy, CRM, spend, and reporting data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop business reviews, metrics, variance analysis, forecasts, and other decision-support materials.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and special projects that support growth and operational decisions.
  • Present insights and reporting metrics to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive accountability and results through various teams
  • Proactively analyze customer, hierarchy, and DCN data to resolve revenue leakage, reporting gaps, and missed savings opportunities while improving data quality, efficiency, and business outcomes.

 

Portfolio Support Operations & Data Integrity

  • Maintain customer hierarchies, DCN mapping, subscriptions, exclusions, onboarding/offboarding, and related portfolio support processes.
  • Validate data, perform root-cause analysis, support audits, and resolve data quality issues.
  • Ensure adherence to established workflows, standards, and governance practices.
  • Execute master data management activities with timely follow-through, responsive stakeholder support, and a high degree of accuracy.

 

Automation, Process Improvement & Scalable Workflows

  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize recurring processes and reporting.
  • Partner with IT, CRM, CDAI, and analytics teams to implement scalable solutions.
  • Use Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, Python, Snowflake, or similar tools to improve efficiency and reliability.

 

CRM, Workflow Governance & Stakeholder Support

  • Support CRM adoption and reinforce CRM as the system of record.
  • Monitor workflow effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, remove blockers, and support business objectives.
  • Provide clear communication, training support, and status updates.

 

Documentation, Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Create and maintain SOPs, QRGs, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Support onboarding, cross-training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Document decisions, action items, risks, and improvements.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Advanced Excel experience, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and large dataset analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to convert data into insights and results.

Preferred

  • Experience with Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Power Automate, or similar tools.
  • Experience in analytics, reporting, data management, operations, portfolio support, or process improvement.
  • Financial analysis, trend analysis, audit, or business intelligence experience.
