Job Summary:
This role supports the Executive Vice President of the Strategic Alliance Group for Compass Group, NA. This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains executive's schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel.
- Operates as the “face” of the department with executive level poise, answering and directing inquiries effectively while optimizing the executive’s time.
- Experience / consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work on a fluctuating basis.
- Organize and prepare executive-level communications and presentations.
- Act as the point of communication and coordination for the teams and their leadership. Gathers information from the team on behalf of the executive.
- Retrieve and interpret data from SAP and other Legal/Finance systems to support the team.
- Liaison effectively with other corporate teams.
- Manage several ongoing reports and disseminate materials, adhering to deadlines.
- Provide documentation and reconciling expenses while monitoring budgets.
- Coordinate meetings and conferences, agendas, site locations, and meals with a focus on creativity and expense management.
- Extensive project management.
- Assist with other department duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 5+ years executive administrative support to a senior level executive required.
- Passionate about customer and client service, with a proven track record.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Exceptional organizational skills; extensive experience coordinating projects, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and following up on assignments with minimum direction.
- Knowledge of software: Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to learn company systems quickly in order to extract data and run reports.
- Self-starter; the ability to work with minimum supervision. Must take ownership and be committed to deliver excellence.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential way.
- Ability to demonstrate composure and self-confidence in difficult situations.
- Experience / consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment.
- Operates as a “student always”, seeks to make things better.
