Foodbuy Procurement Culinary Summer Internship Program
Foodbuy is looking for an intern to support our Culinary team. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and hospitality/culinary experience. The goal of Foodbuy’s Internship program is to provide an opportunity to engage in impactful projects acquiring hands-on culinary experience while balancing professional development and leadership growth sessions within a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
What does the Culinary team at Foodbuy do?

Culinary works directly with customers to align them with contracted products through Chef led engagements such as product showcases, menu development, operational consulting and culinary training.
In this internship program you can expect exposure to the below:

Analyze data and develop support reports and materials for cuttings and consults.

Menu and recipe development support.
-
Training development support for webinars and live training events.
-
Research customer targets and food trends.
-
Test manufacturer items for internal feedback and strategy.
-
Learn about the Foodbuy supply chain network.
-
Gain exposure to all internal Foodbuy systems.

Meet with all Foodbuy departments to learn how they work together.

Attend off-site sector, supplier and manufacturer tours.
Requirements:

Sophomore or Junior studying supply chain, finance, business, analytics or other relevant courses. Hospitality or culinary coursework/experience desired.

Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook

Strong analytical and technical skills

Solid organizational and communication skills
