Job Summary

The Project Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating key initiatives that support operational excellence across the Southeast region. This individual plays a critical role in upholding Eurest’s food safety, sanitation, and quality standards by executing regional QA programs, supporting field teams, and ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, and client expectations. The Project Manager will lead multiple projects simultaneously while partnering closely with operations, culinary, safety, and cross‑functional partners to drive continuous improvement. Must be comfortable with traveling up to 75% of the time within the Southeast Region.

 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

-Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of designated projects to ensure goals and objectives are met within established timelines and budget parameters.
-Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives and regional needs.
-Establishes project work plans, timelines, and staffing for each phase of execution.
-Documents and analyzes information, processes, and pain points to solve critical operational and compliance issues.
-Reviews project status reports, identifies risks, and modifies plans or schedules as needed to maintain progress.
-Manages multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization and organization.
-Communicates project details and updates across all levels of the organization—field management, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams.


Quality Assurance & Food Safety:

-Supports the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of Eurest’s food safety, sanitation, and quality control programs across multiple accounts within the Southeast region.
-Conducts quality assurance assessments and internal audits, identifying gaps and ensuring corrective actions are executed and sustained.
-Partners with unit managers and regional leaders to drive compliance with HACCP, FDA Food Code, Compass policies, and client-specific standards.
-Reviews audit findings, trends, and incident reports; recommends improvements to reduce risk and enhance food safety culture.
-Works closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure consistent execution of brand standards, recipe adherence, production processes, and service quality.
-Provides hands-on training, coaching, and resources to unit-level staff and managers on food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper documentation.
-Supports rollouts of new QA initiatives, tools, systems, and corporate programs across the region.
-Serves as a subject matter expert on quality, compliance, and risk mitigation, providing guidance and support during inspections, client site visits, and internal evaluations.


Collaboration & Communication:

-Builds productive relationships with field teams, regional leadership, support departments, and client partners.
-Communicates complex QA and operational requirements clearly and effectively.
-Works cross-functionally to develop solutions that drive safety, quality, and operational efficiency.


Additional Requirements:

-Performs other duties and special assignments as needed.
-Travels up to 75% throughout the Southeast region.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
-3–5 years of experience managing large, complex enterprise projects—preferably in foodservice, hospitality, or operations environments.
-Strong background in food quality assurance, food safety, and compliance (ServSafe, HACCP, internal audits, or similar experience preferred).
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present information to diverse audiences.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a positive, solutions‑oriented approach.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field‑based, travel‑heavy environment.-
