Job Summary

 

The Retail Product Specialist - Coffee supports the Director of Retail - Pantry and Coffee for our coffee line of business. This role supports brand development projects, retail initiatives, our online ordering platform, and field-based operations teams. You will work closely with coffee suppliers, marketing, communications, retail teams, and operators nationwide to support strategic business initiatives, product innovation, and vendor management.Responsibilities:

 

Platform & Product Management:
• Manage the E-Comm site digital assets, ensuring products are optimized, including categorization, descriptions, and imagery.
• Support product attribution clean-up, and navigation for the online ordering website.
• Identify sector and business trends, including competitive intelligence data.
• Assist with supplier relationship management for specific categories.
• Work closely with corporate purchasing teams.
• Lead Snack Box operations.

 

Merchandising & Optimization:
• Recommend and implement changes to improve UX/UI, upsell opportunities, and featured product placements.
• Work with marketing and creative teams to align campaigns with seasonal trends, events, and promotions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of menu suggestions and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Develop content for brand sales and retention materials for coffee operations and clients.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner with Marketing and Field Ops teams to ensure a cohesive digital experience.
• Train internal stakeholders on best practices for functionality to support a frictionless client experience.
• Manage category presence on internal communications, updating and creating documentation for field operations.
• Support coffee account needs as needed.

Qualifications:
• E-commerce experience.
• Two-plus years of experience in procurement, food service, or CPG industry.
• Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative, and other digital communications tools is a plus.
