Short Description
Your project management skills will help you oversee the coordination and execution of client-facing initiatives, ensuring seamless planning, delivery, and post-event analysis, as well as lead the design and execution of national tradeshows and internal events, driving engagement with key audiences. Your experience in B2B Marketing will ensure strategic stewardship of the Chartwells K12 brand is achieved through management of external industry relationships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities in strong collaboration with our Creative and Communications teams.

Job Summary
As the Director, National Marketing & Client Experience, you are a nationally-focused marketing leader responsible for developing and implementing innovative programs that position Chartwells as the preferred partner in K-12 school dining. You drive cross-sector partnerships to expand program reach and
effectiveness, leveraging industry insights and operational expertise to deliver measurable growth in client acquisition and retention.
Responsibilities
- Program Management: Lead the development and implementation of innovative marketing programs and concepts that position the organization as a preferred partner in K-12 school dining.

retention. - Client Engagement: Oversee the coordination and execution of client-facing programs, ensuring seamless planning, delivery, and post-event analysis. Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, utilizing feedback mechanisms and competitive analysis to continuously improve program outcomes and client satisfaction.
- B2B Marketing: Steward the organization’s brand through strategic management of external industry relationships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities. Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for effective brand positioning, collaborating with Creative Marketing and Communications teams to maximize campaign impact.
- Events Execution: Design and execute national tradeshow and internal event strategies that elevate brand presence and drive engagement with key audiences. Lead cross-functional teams
in the planning and delivery of high-impact events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. - Project Management: Provide national support for projects focused on client impact, growth, and retention. Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, applying advanced project
management skills to deliver results on time and within budget. Serve as a thought leader in identifying participation trends and translating insights into actionable strategies for continued
success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, or in similar roles with demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs that provide outstanding user experiences
- Food service and/or K-12 experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead implementation and produce positive outcomes by working through teams
- Creative and curious thinker able to identify emerging business and cultural trends relevant to target audiences, make decisions in changing environments, and anticipate future needs
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively
- interface with senior leadership, as well as clients, students, and associates
- Ability to travel up to 30% as determined by business needs
