Salary:  $125,000 - $140,000

Job Summary

The Sr. Spatial Data Analyst is part of a team of technical resources supporting complex integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) for clients of SSC.  The Sr. Spatial Data Analyst supports our field operations teams, technicians, clients, and third-party vendor partners across all SSC clients. This role is primarily responsible for data capture, data configuration and tracking, data analysis, operational optimization related to technology deployment, general platform support and training, troubleshooting and escalating issues within the SSC Technology team as needed with secondary responsibility for maintaining asset inventories, preventative maintenance program configuration and accuracy, configuration updates to scheduled activities, custom survey or inspection configuration.

Platforms this role will operate in: GIS, REVIT, CAD, ESRI, ServiceNow, Nuvolo, Poly, SmartInspect, and Otuvy. 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead a High-Performing Team

  • Lead and coach a team of Spatial Analysts by providing clear direction and expectations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusion
  • Support individual career progression, identify skill gaps, and enable learning opportunities to strengthen team capacity
  • Drive engagement and retention through growth-focused leadership
  • Promote recognition, wellbeing, and open communication

Drive Continuous Technology Enhancements

  • Identify technology and process gaps and propose practical, scalable solutions
  • Research and compare emerging tools to assess fit, value, security, and long-term viability
  • Run pilots to validate impact, capture learnings, and recommend go/no-go decisions based on results
  • Build business cases that quantify ROI, risks, and resourcing to support adoption decisions
  • Standardize proven improvements, document best practices, and enable teams through training and change support
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence and align senior leaders across SSC and Compass Technology to secure buy-in, remove barriers, and drive adoption of key enhancements

Space Data Activities

  • Oversee the validation and migration of relevant client data (e.g., GIS, Revit, and CAD) to ensure master data requirements are met for new platform implementations
  • Provide prompt and positive client and operator experience
  • Communicate proactively with users and SSC Technology team
  • Provide clients and operators with data insights to utilize in driving informed business decisions
  • Act as liaison between client and SSC Technology and Operations teams to ensure support and escalations are handled in an effective and timely manner
  • Support Spatial Data Analysts in troubleshooting various technical issues that arise with IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) and other tools
  • Oversee project plan updates as tasks are completed, ensure handoff & communication to keep implementations moving forward
  • Manage digital technology inventory

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • High sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to quality
  • Effective organization, collaboration, planning, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Experience with data creation, management and processing in CAD, GIS, Revit
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills are necessary to be able to translate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Space Data Management/ GIS Management
  • Experience working with above listed systems or other CMMS systems
  • Experience in the Facilities Management industry a plus
  • This is a remote role with up to 30% travel.  Time on site will involve meeting with client contacts and working with operations teams on optimization.
