Job Summary
The Category Development Sr. Analyst, Optimization & Centralization role is an opportunity to accelerate your career by developing expertise in the financial, contractual, and market-driven aspects of Category Development and partnering cross-functionally to identify needs, research opportunities, and formulate & execute solutions that drive value. In this role, you will apply your procurement expertise through market analysis, stakeholder needs assessment, process improvement, and supplier relationship process management – all while working with a knowledgeable, supportive team that celebrates your successes alongside of you. Through this role, you will enhance your ability to analyze data, build & influence strong cross-functional relationships, and develop solutions that deliver financial results, enhance the broader team’s culture, and accelerate organizational effectiveness. This role includes strong project management, analytical, and customer service components.
What You’ll Do:
- Streamline processes, optimize reporting, and generate new solutions which positively impact the entire Category Development team and organization as well as the team’s key stakeholders.
- Extract insights from complex data sets and identify new solutions using advanced Excel skills. Formulate solutions with the support of your team, with a keen appreciation for how the solution will enhance the broader team’s performance and culture.
- Consistently track and monitor the complex details of all projects to ensure flawless execution, including securing iterative feedback from stakeholders in order to distill the most effective outcomes.
- Launch and maintain new solutions with a consistent focus on ‘ease of adoption’ and satisfaction across all stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 2 years supply chain, category, finance or related field.
- Proven track record of delivering results while being self-motivated and driven.
- Ability to collaborate and incorporate feedback from analysts to executives.
- Ability to flex personal work style to different projects and audiences.
- Enthusiastic interest in understanding key processes as well as internal stakeholders’ needs.
- Solution-oriented mindset and superior attention to detail, complemented by proficiency with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills to develop partnerships with adjacent teams.
- Strong presentation skills to train, inspire, and influence change both formally and informally.
- A great attitude – flexibility, optimism, resourcefulness and transparency.
- High proficiency level with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- VBA experience is preferred.
