Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
Pay Grade: 14

Job Summary
We’re looking for a Sr. Communications Specialist who is equal parts' storyteller, strategist, and relationship-builder. In this role, you’ll own the execution of internal communication strategies that inform, inspire, and engage our associates, empowering them to do their best work, strengthen our culture, and create lasting impact for clients and communities.
Beyond internal comms, you’ll also bring ESFM’s brand story to life externally, across digital channels, social media, video campaigns, and web platforms, helping us build a reputation as a trusted leader in facilities management.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC, designed for someone who thrives in a collaborative but entrepreneurial environment. Please note - this role is in office 4 days, remote 1 day (each week).
What You’ll Do
· Shape the Associate Experience: Develop and execute communication programs that engage associates and strengthen company culture, including town halls, webinars, cascaded manager toolkits, and ESFM’s employee app.
· Tell Powerful Stories: Lead storytelling campaigns that spotlight our culture, DEI commitments, and corporate social responsibility efforts.
· Manage Key Channels: Oversee ESFM’s intranet, internal newsletters, and email campaigns while maintaining accuracy and alignment with business priorities.
· Build Online Presence: Act as community manager for internal and social channels, leading our employee advocacy program and positioning leaders as industry thought partners.
· Elevate Digital Content: Partner with our creative team to produce videos, manage YouTube content, and ensure our digital platforms represent ESFM’s brand with excellence.
· Measure & Optimize: Define KPIs, track performance, and deliver reporting on internal and external communications effectiveness.
Who We’re Looking For
· A Strong Communicator: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adjust tone and voice for diverse audiences. Experience crafting everything from email campaigns to executive talking points to video scripts.
· A Digital Native: Skilled in website content management (WordPress, SharePoint), analytics (Google Analytics), and social media management platforms.
· A B2B Storyteller: 3+ years of experience in a B2B communications or marketing role (experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, or related industries a plus).
· A Culture Champion: Driven to connect people, inspire belonging, and highlight the stories that make an organization unique.
· A Creative Strategist: Innovative, resourceful, and able to balance big-picture ideas with flawless execution.
· A Trusted Partner: Proactive, relationship-oriented, and skilled at collaborating across departments and levels of leadership.
