Job Summary

The VP, Data Enablement is a newly created role responsible for driving analytics governance, business alignment and adoption of data capabilities across Compass’ diverse portfolio of sectors. This leader will work with the business to define key metrics and champion their consistent use, build data literacy and embed data-driven decision-making into business processes and culture.

Working as a business-facing counterpart to Compass Data and AI, the VP will focus on harmonizing KPIs and definitions where consistency drives value, while respecting the unique needs of each sector. The role will drive change management efforts to build understanding and advocacy across sectors and increase adoption of analytics tools and AI outputs.

This position is designed to accelerate the enterprise’s ability to use data quickly and easily for business outcomes, rather than to own the technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Governance & Alignment

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to define, standardize and maintain key
metrics, business definitions and access rights
  • Facilitate alignment across sectors to ensure consistent measurement, reporting
    and interpretation of enterprise data
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities and ways of working relating to data analytics
    processes
  • Embed governance processes into operational workflows to enable consistent,
    confident decision-making

Change Management & Adoption

  • Champion enterprise-wide change management initiatives to increase the adoption
of analytics tools and self-service capabilities
  • Engage sector leadership to advocate for data-driven practices and ensure they are
embedded into processes, tools and decision-making
  • Develop and track adoption measures, ensuring sustained engagement and reduced
    reliance on dedicated analytics/reporting teams

Data Literacy & Capability Building

  • Develop and deliver enterprise-wide data literacy programs tailored to operational,
    functional and leadership audiences
  • Build the mindset and skills needed across the business to interpret, question and
    act on data outputs effectively
  • Ensure business teams are prepared to use AI outputs consistently, responsibly and
    in alignment with governance standards

Business Impact & ROI Tracking

  • Define and measure success based on business adoption, reduced definition
conflicts and tangible business outcomes (e.g. revenue growth, cost optimization,
    process efficiency)
  • Collaborate with Compass Data and AI to ensure governance supports scalable,
    responsible AI enablement
  • Communicate and demonstrate data ROI to executive leadership
