Job Summary

Clinical Device Management Administrator 

Position Summary 

The ServiceNow Clinical Device Management (CDM) Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform, with a primary focus on Clinical Device Management (CDM), Field Service Management (FSM), and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). This individual will partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the platform supports operational excellence, automation, reporting, and enterprise asset lifecycle management. 

The ideal candidate has strong ServiceNow administration experience, understands Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) workflows, and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

Platform Administration 

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring system stability, performance, and security. 
  • Manage users, groups, roles, ACLs, notifications, workflows, and platform configurations. 
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while coordinating with ServiceNow Support as needed. 

Clinical Device Management (CDM) 

  • Configure and support ServiceNow Clinical Device Management capabilities. 
  • Maintain medical device asset records, lifecycle data, and preventive maintenance schedules. 
  • Support clinical engineering workflows, work order management, and device history. 
  • Assist with integrations supporting device inventory, recalls, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives. 

Field Service Management (FSM) 

  • Configure and support Field Service Management functionality, including: 
    • Work order management 
    • Technician scheduling and dispatch 
    • Mobile technician capabilities 
    • Parts and inventory management 
    • Service task automation 
  • Optimize technician workflows to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) 

  • Support the complete asset lifecycle from acquisition through retirement. 
  • Maintain accurate asset records and relationships. 
  • Configure lifecycle states, asset models, and inventory processes. 
  • Assist with software and hardware asset reporting and governance. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs using ServiceNow reporting capabilities. 
  • Monitor platform health and operational performance. 
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. 

Integration & Automation 

  • Support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, including CMMS, ERP, Identity Management, EMR, cybersecurity platforms, and third-party vendor solutions. 
  • Configure Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP integrations. 
  • Assist in implementing automation that improves operational efficiency. 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Recommend platform enhancements and best practices. 
  • Participate in solution design sessions and roadmap planning. 
  • Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
