Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
Pay Grade: 11
Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus, up to 15%

Job Summary
As the Remote Safety Coordinator, you will work directly with the National EHS Director and Division Safety Managers to ensure field teams remain in compliance with operational needs, support business-critical matters, and ensure regulatory compliance (i.e., OSHA, EPA). This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently, including tracking deliverables, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating follow-up actions, managing deadlines, and organizing safety data and training records. This is an entry-level position with opportunity to grow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Administers and maintains the HSI online learning management platform, including user support, training assignments, tracking, and reporting.
• Compiles, reviews, and analyzes EHS data to identify trends, monitor performance, and support data-driven safety decisions.
• Develops and maintains safety dashboards, reports, and trackers to monitor key performance indicators and provide visibility to leadership.
• Prepares safety summaries and leadership updates by organizing data, validating information, and presenting findings clearly and accurately.
• Tracks safety initiatives, training requirements, corrective actions, and follow-up items to support timely completion and closure.
• Creates and presents PowerPoint decks and communication materials to support safety initiatives, reporting, and leadership updates.
• Supports implementation of corporate safety policies, procedures, and program requirements as directed.
• Partners with operations to support safety performance, field engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Safety experience preferred; related experience a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, facilities management, or a related industry preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, creativity, communication, and training skills; able to work independently, communicate confidently, and appropriately advocate for safety priorities.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Smartsheet and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail, including the ability to track action items, maintain accurate records, manage calendars and deadlines, organize project materials, and prioritize multiple workstreams accurately and efficiently.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, or related field is preferred.
Work Environment / Travel:
• Remote position with 10 % occasional travel
