Job Summary

Levy provides world-class food and retail operations at the United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Bulls. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance team. This position is responsible for managing the full-cycle Accounts Payable process in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing exceptional internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and timely.
  • Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice coding, matching, approvals, and payment processing.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure invoices are reconciled appropriately.
  • Process ACH, check, and wire transfer payments.
  • Set up and maintain vendor records and banking information.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close by preparing AP reconciliations and accruals.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Operations, and Home Office Finance to resolve invoice and PO issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency.
  • Assist with year-end audits and other accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience in creating and managing purchase orders.
  • Strong understanding of three-way matching (PO, receipt, and invoice).
  • Expert level data entry skills (both speed and accuracy)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to navigate complex accounting and purchasing systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food service, hospitality, or multi-unit accounting experience is a plus.

    Schedule

    This position is full-time and in-office. General schedule is M-F 9a-5p, however there will be a recurring need for extra hours worked at least 2 days during month end close.
