Eurest is seeking a passionate, people-focused Assistant General Manager to lead the VIP Delta Sky Club at Chicago O'Hare International Airport

The Assistant General Manager plays a key role in leading day-to-day food service operations, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture, and ensuring all corporate, operational, and brand standards are executed consistently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading daily Delta Sky Club operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, operational excellence, and adherence to approved budgets while maximizing value for both the client and guests.
- Support the execution of premium food, beverage, and hospitality experiences, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction are consistently achieved.
- Partner with leadership to recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and service excellence.
- Provide hands-on leadership across all areas of the lounge, including food and beverage operations, guest services, staffing, inventory management, and operational compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and airport stakeholders to ensure seamless lounge operations and an elevated guest experience.
- Monitor operational performance, labor productivity, and service standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, clients, and business partners while serving as a role model for Delta Sky Club hospitality standards.
- Support compliance with all company, airport, health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with special projects, lounge initiatives, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- Flexible schedule and open availability are required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and closing shifts in a fast-paced airport lounge environment.
- 2 to 4 years of food service, hospitality, or restaurant management experience with a proven track record of operational leadership.
- 2 to 4 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in upscale hospitality environments, including restaurants, hotels, airport lounges, private clubs, bars, corporate dining, or other premium guest-service operations.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including quality standards, food safety, presentation, and guest experience.
- Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing labor, expenses, budgets, inventories, and operational performance metrics.
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience utilizing technology to support daily operations.
- Associate's degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
