Job Summary
As a Banquet Manager with Levy at the iconic United Center—home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks—you will assist in the planning and execution of all catering operations. This includes managing daily banquet activities, collaborating closely with the culinary and sales team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all catering operations, ensuring seamless event execution and elevated guest experiences
Serve as the liaison between clients, culinary, and catering, and sales team to ensure flawless event coordination
Lead and coach team members to consistently deliver Levy’s signature Show ready Hospitality
Drive event success by holding the team accountable to service standards and operational procedures
Communicate client needs clearly through detailed, timely correspondence
Build strong relationships with clients, and internal stakeholders to support repeat business and high satisfaction
Execute menus, promotions, and event activations in alignment with Levy and venue standards
Monitor and maintain catering equipment and inventory to support operational readiness
Support budget goals by managing labor, inventory, and food cost targets
Uphold safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies
Develop team members to support a high-performance banquet culture
Use performance management tools to provide ongoing coaching and feedback
Continually seek feedback from clients and guests to enhance future experiences
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in a food and beverage leadership role, preferably in catering or banquet operations
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management (preferred)
Strong organizational and project management skills
High level of computer literacy (event management, POS, and reporting systems)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
