Bartender

Position Summary
The United Center is the largest arena in the United States and is located near the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The United Center hosts concerts, other events, and is home to the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association. Fan Duel Bartender must provide exceptional bar service to guests and servers in the FanDuel Sportsbook while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment. Deliver excellent guest service, accurately process orders and payments, and ensure compliance with all beverage service procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and servers following established service standards.
• Maintain bar inventory, stock supplies, and assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Keep all bar areas clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
• Process guest payments and accurately enter all beverage sales into the POS system.
• Build guest relationships through friendly service, product recommendations, and upselling.
• Assist with glassware cleaning, bar setup, stocking, and overall bar support functions.
• Ensure all beverages provided to servers are supported by the appropriate sales ticket.
• Secure and authorize credit cards for guest tabs according to company procedures.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
• Ability to operate a POS system and process transactions accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and arms; ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
