CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (CHICAGO, IL)
Salary: $75,000 - 80,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary
The Product Experience Manager has a reports directly to the VP of Innovation Deployment with a primary focus on development and growth of our market retail programs. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation and execution of food and beverage product strategies, in collaboration with Foodbuy, Levy Leadership and E15, supply chain, and operations.. This includes identifying, developing, and scaling new technologies and processes for product selection and planogram development to grow revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop planograms for grab-and-go markets and other food and beverage outlets. This includes SOPs, guides, and custom planograms.
- Create product growth playbooks, tools, and training.
- Conduct trainings for operations teams at all levels of the organization.
- Analyze national, regional, and local procurement and sales trends to identify top/bottom performers and make continuous improvements to SOPs and guides.
- Develop initiatives to drive product performance and growth.
- Operational support to implement retail SOPs and best practices.
- Develop and leads product marketing and program initiatives to improve sales.
- Manage budgets and forecasting to ensure targets are met.
- Collaborate on national programs, promotions, auto-shipments, etc.
- Work with E15 and Supply Chain to deliver performance analysis and internal reporting.
- Manage all sector and field communications to support program and operational success.
- Collaborate across a matrixed organization, suppliers, clients, and end customers.
- Monitor the industry and competition for technology and marketing landscape and trends.
- Analyzes internal data, sourcing, and pricing.
- Achieves goals measured by KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in retail, CPG, Beverage company
- Business acumen to analyze category performance and make recommendations
- Analytical skills and firm understanding of data sources, modeling and executive level reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to travel
