Job Summary

The Executive Chef leads all culinary operations across the United Center, overseeing concessions, premium suites, and group sales in a high‑volume, event‑driven environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, driving innovation, and ensuring consistent execution across all service areas while leading a team of salaried chefs and managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all culinary operations for concessions, suites, premium dining, and group sales
  • Provide strategic leadership to a team of five salaried chefs/managers and broader culinary staff
  • Ensure consistent execution of menus with a focus on quality, efficiency, and scalability
  • Lead menu development, culinary innovation, and concept evolution across all platforms
  • Oversee staffing, training, and performance management of culinary leadership teams
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Drive financial performance through food costing, inventory management, labor planning, and waste reduction
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and guest experience teams to enhance offerings and execution
  • Establish and uphold culinary standards, processes, and best practices across all venues

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, with Executive Chef experience required
  • Proven success in high‑volume environments such as stadiums, arenas, hotels, or large‑scale banquet operations
  • Strong leadership ability with experience managing multiple salaried leaders and large teams
  • Expertise in multi-outlet operations, including concessions and premium dining
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and financial management skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, event-driven environments with shifting priorities
  • Flexible schedule required—must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night events
