This isn't just another hospitality job. It's an opportunity to lead an exceptional guest experience at the prestigious Delta Sky Club at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). As the General Manager, you'll partner closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to deliver seamless operations, inspire a high-performing team, and create memorable experiences for Delta guests.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of Delta Sky Club operations, including hospitality and culinary services, staffing, financial performance, client relationships, and adherence to established brand and service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all aspects of hospitality, foodservice, and lounge operations while ensuring exceptional service and operational performance.
- Take ownership of the Club's overall performance, ensuring service, operational, brand, and client standards are consistently achieved.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L, labor management, cost controls, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Lead, coach, and inspire managers and associates while cultivating a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and excellence.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop management and hourly team members.
- Drive employee engagement and retention through recognition, communication, professional development, and effective leadership.
- Build strong relationships with Delta representatives, airport stakeholders, suppliers, guests, and team members.
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities, resolve operational challenges, and implement solutions that elevate the guest experience.
- Conduct management meetings and clearly communicate business objectives, performance expectations, and operational updates.
- Maintain the elevated hospitality, food safety, presentation, and service standards expected within the Delta Sky Club environment.
- Champion a guest-first culture that creates welcoming and memorable experiences for travelers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Minimum of five years of progressive management experience in hospitality, premium lounges, restaurants, hotels, airline hospitality, foodservice, or a related guest-service environment.
- Experience in premium hospitality, airport lounges, luxury hotels, private clubs, or high-volume guest service operations is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L performance, budgets, forecasting, labor, cost controls, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, hospitality trends, sanitation standards, merchandising, presentation, and guest service excellence.
- Proven success in leadership, coaching, team building, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships across multiple levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, email applications, and business reporting systems.
- ServSafe Manager Certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
