Job Summary

 

Join the team at the United Center, the largest arena in the United States, located on the West Side of Chicago. Home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and Chicago Bulls (NBA), the United Center also hosts concerts and major events year-round. We are looking for a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to welcome guests and support smooth operations in our premium all-inclusive clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet guests, check tickets, issue wristbands, and offer coat check.

  • Explain club amenities and direct guests to Chef’s Tables and dining areas.

  • Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand and assist with light setup duties:

    • Set candles, utensils, and coffee/tea station supplies.

    • Clean menu tags and sneeze guards post-service.

  • Assist servers with restocking and polishing as needed.

  • Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.

  • Complete event paperwork and wristband counts at the end of each shift.

Appearance & Uniform Standards:

  • Provided: White shirt, black tie, black leather apron.

  • Required: Black professional boot- or straight-leg pants and black non-slip shoes.

  • Not permitted: Yoga pants, leggings, tight-fitting pants, sneakers, boots.

  • Fingernails must be natural (no polish, gel, dip, or extensions) and no more than ¼ inch past fingertip.

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, guest-focused attitude with strong communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to a professional appearance.
