The United Center is the largest arena in the United States, located near the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. It hosts concerts, major events, and is home to the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL) and the Chicago Bulls (NBA).
Job Summary:
As a Host/Hostess at the exclusive Ketel One Club, you’ll be the first impression for guests attending events at this world-class venue. You'll manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure a welcoming, professional, and seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests with a warm, courteous demeanor.

Manage the reservation system and update seating charts.

Assess guest needs upon arrival (e.g., high chairs, coat check).

Maintain menu inventory, distribute and collect menus post-event.

Collaborate with wait staff and management to ensure guest satisfaction.

Clear tables, remove used glassware, and assist with guest check delivery when needed.
Alcohol Service & Pouring Standards:
-
Must follow all Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.

ID anyone appearing 30 or younger; no service to anyone under 21 or visibly intoxicated.

Limit alcohol service to two drinks per guest per ID.

Use jiggers for all pours; no free pouring. Standard is 1.25 oz for single liquor drinks; max 2 oz for multi-liquor drinks.
Requirements:

Strong communication and guest service skills.

Comfortable with floor plans, reservation systems, and seating logistics.

Basic math and computer skills (POS experience a plus).

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
