Job Summary
TITLE: On-Deck Summer Internship – Marketing & Communications
LOCATION: Levy Home Office – 980 N. Michigan Ave Chicago, IL
TIME FRAME: June 2, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Position Summary: Levy’s On-Deck Summer Internship is a 10-week, project-based program with a focus on improving business operations on a strategic and multifunctional level. Interns will be exposed to Levy’s unique culture, personal and professional development workshops, and standards of service at Levy’s Home Office in Chicago, IL. This summer internship program is offered to full-time college students interested in a career in hospitality, sports and entertainment, or data analytics. Upon successful completion of the On-Deck program, interns have the potential to receive a full-time, entry-level position post-graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Deck Interns will work independently or in a partnership/group on their 10-week project and will follow a structured curriculum presenting their findings to Levy Leadership at the conclusion of the summer. Professionalism, time management, problem solving, and eagerness to learn are expectations of each intern.
The Marketing & Communications intern responsibilities may include (but will not be limited to):
- Stay up-to-date on news and events at all Levy venues to identify stories to share on Levy’s internal and external communications channels
- Stay up-to-date and proactively share latest marketing, communications & industry trends with the team
- Monitor Levy media and social media chatter, including Levy competitors as needed
- Support marketing & communications campaigns across all Levy divisions, including –
- Brainstorming creative ideas & promotions
- Creating content & writing stories for digital & social mediaContributing to media pitches, writing press releases, and developing essential pitch materials
- Managing and organizing photos, press releases, fact sheets, and other story materials for each campaign, including asset / server management
- Assisting with media and influencer events and activations
- Organize internal and external content calendars
- Support Levy Website updates
- Learn about and support the marketing & communications needs of Levy teams in the field
- Act as an internal marketing & communications advocate, supporting internal share outs within Levy.

Required Qualifications:
- Full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university/college majoring in an appropriate discipline
- A skilled multitasker who works with a sense of urgency
- A team player with the ability to work cohesively with Levy team members and fellow interns alike
- An effective communicator comfortable engaging with potential guests, leadership and key stakeholders
- Hospitality focused individual with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Efficient in basic math and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
- Ability to provide own housing and transportation accommodations to Levy’s Chicago Home Office for the duration of the 10-week program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok.
- Strong writing skills and sample work (e.g. student newspaper articles, blog posts, social media campaigns, or capstone writing projects)
- Experience or demonstrated interest in media relations, social media management, or audio/visual content development (e.g. podcasts, video production, and editing)
- Graphic design skills (familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva) are a bonus.
- Social video editing skills (familiarity with CapCut) are a bonus.
