Job Summary
Summary:
The United Center is the largest arena in the United States and is located near the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The United Center hosts concerts, other events, and is home to the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League and the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association. The banquet porter will assist the banquet management team with the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet rooms and catering areas for events and game days. Ensure all banquet functions are executed according to client specifications and BEOs while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and break down banquet rooms, VIP areas, beverage stations, and non-banquet spaces used for events

Prepare tables, service ware, and food/beverage drop-off areas for pre- and post-game meals

Maintain coffee stations, beverage equipment, and press lounge areas

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety throughout events
-
Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines

Assist with inventory, requisitions, and delivery of linens, beverages, disposables, and consumables

Support servers, bartenders, and hosts during events as needed

Perform additional duties as assigned by management
