Position Title:  Regional Supply Chain Purchasing Manager 

Pay Grade:  15 

Salary Range:  $90,000 - 110,000 and or based off experience

Other Compensation:  18% bonus potential

Job Summary


The role of Regional Supply Chain Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing supply chain actions within the Special Events division consisting of Motorsports and Festivals, recommending change for supply chain practices and establishing plans for purchasing that are the best for the company and the guests. Partnering with Regional Director of Supply Chain Purchasing to deliver value through quality products.  This is a Hybrid position.  60% travel is expected.

 

  • Oversee of four key roles of responsibilities inclusive of buying, warehouse management, payment management, and inventory control
  • Provide project leadership to end users during the roll-out of Levy's new purchasing & supply chain system
  • Aid the Regional Director of Supply Chain Purchasing to implement innovations that improve Levy's supply chain, by processes, systems, or structure
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with senior leaders and other relevant stakeholders to drive collaboration and address performance issues
  • Identify new supply chain capabilities by monitoring internal and industry practices to make recommendations for change
  • Leverage leading supply chain management procedures to improve existing capabilities in synchronized fashion
  • Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs
  • Manage cross-functional teams, establishing a project culture of accountability, including with teams of non-reports to provide timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Coach location personnel to proactively evaluate supply chain performance and establish policies that hold teams accountable for results
  • Own the regional supply planning cycle for season planning to establish purchasing plans that effectively meet demand requirements without compromising financials or guest satisfaction
  • Manage monthly reporting process to monitor regional supply chain performance and drive accountability for results
  • Exercise analytical rigor while developing solutions and estimating benefits
  • Nature and Scope Typically reports to Regional Director of Supply Chain Purchasing
  • Ensures that all security, safety and sanitation standards are achieved
  • Works closely and partner with regional teams dedicated to other business functions
  • Ability to deal with sensitive, controversial or complicated data
  • Expected to proactively determine priorities and action plans to achieve Company objectives
  • Face situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of combined consulting and industry operating experience    
  • Demonstrated professional experience as a project manager    
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, etc. and Microsoft PowerPoint    
  • Experience with Microsoft Access, SQL and Tableau a plus    
  • Previous experience with addressing supply chain needs in the Food & Beverage industry is a plus  
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering high-impact supply chain solutions    

 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business , or other related field
  • Proven leader with an innate ability to build business relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly adaptable with meticulous attention to detail
  •  Excellent organizational abilities
  • Committed to process improvement and professional growth
