Salary: $95,000 - $98,000

Job Summary
Join Chartwells as the Senior Catering Director for a flagship university account servicing the Northwestern University downtown community including the prestigious Prtizker School of Law and Feinberg School of Medicine programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Catering Operations
- Manage multiple events daily with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Supervise and development staff
- Execute Culinary Programs
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Conduct Financial Management and Analysis
- Direct Special Events, Marketing and Sales of events, and lead on site field support for events
Preferred Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- General Hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
- At least two years experience in food service operations leadership with an emphasis in catering
- Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner
- Ability to operate web based ordering system, process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles
- Proficient with word processing and spread sheet applications
- Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers
- Possess the ability to meet Company specific uniform standards for this position
- Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment’s per Company guidelines
- Ability to work at times with minimal supervision, and accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions
- This position supervises numerous employees including delivery personnel and culinary personnel
