Salary: $55,000 - $60,000

Job Summary

Where Chicago’s riverfront energy meets unforgettable celebrations. R&R Events at River Roast is a newly launched private events destination designed to bring people together through elevated hospitality, stunning skyline views, chef-driven cuisine, and memorable experiences. From corporate gatherings and weddings to social celebrations and waterfront receptions, this beautiful new venue will redefine event experiences in the heart of downtown Chicago.

As the Sales Manager, you will drive event sales growth by building relationships with clients, coordinating event experiences, and showcasing the unique atmosphere of R&R Events. You will lead the sales process from inquiry through execution while collaborating with culinary, operations, and hospitality teams to deliver exceptional events that exceed guest expectations.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of catering sales, hospitality sales, or event management experience
  • Experience using CRM systems and event management software
  • Knowledge of banquet event orders (BEOs), catering operations, and event planning processes
  • Strong understanding of food & beverage operations and private event logistics
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage catering and private event sales opportunities
  • Conduct venue tours and present customized event proposals to prospective clients
  • Develop relationships with corporate, social, and community partners
  • Create and manage banquet event orders and event documentation
  • Coordinate event details with culinary, operations, and service teams
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the planning process
  • Monitor sales goals, revenue performance, and booking activity
  • Represent R&R Events at networking functions and community events
  • Ensure all events reflect Levy hospitality standards and brand expectations
