Job Summary
Levy is seeking a Senior Food & Beverage Purchasing Manager to lead all procurement operations at the United Center, home of the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, cost-effective sourcing for concessions, culinary, suites, clubs, catering, and premium dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for food, beverage, disposables, and supplies
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations
- Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Levy/United Center standards
- Collaborate with culinary, operations, and finance teams
- Provide reporting and analysis on spend, savings, and usage trends
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of management experience in a leadership role in F&B purchasing, preferably in sports or hospitality venues
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Experience with inventory and purchasing systems (e.g., Birchstreet or similar)
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and event days based on business needs
