Job Summary
Chartwells Higher Ed is seeking a Senior Learning & Development Consultant to support our food service team at Texas A&M in College Station, TX. You will design, develop, and deploy learning solutions that aids learners in acquiring skills and competencies relevant to business success. You will be accountable for creating an optimal user experience in learning design, driving best practices and change management. This position requires exceptional customer support and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business partners as an instructional design expert to design, develop, and implement synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions for Chartwells Higher Ed
- Manage internal instructional design projects, external partners, and SMEs in creating appropriate content for courses that may include video, photos, audio, tests, quizzes, and interactive activities
- Establish and maintain high performing relationships with business partners to ensure learning solutions meet identified needs
- Provide direction and guidance in learning-concept design to support organizational goals
- Analyze learning needs, tasks, styles, and multi-lingual needs to develop end-to-end learning assets
- Serve as program manager for Compass One Healthcare courses
- Consult on and configure course and program technical design and implementation to translate business partner needs into clearly defined system requirements, including audience definition and creation
- Solid experience developing technical and soft skills training
- Consultative approach, with analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills that lead to rapid and accurate problem resolution
- Professional and diplomatic communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
- Understand and follow an instructional design process, such as ADDIE
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, or related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience actively developing learning content across multiple technology platforms (including mobile)
- Experience successfully deploying large, enterprise-wide e-learning projects and programs into production
- Expert level proficiency in using e-Learning and video editing software such as Articulate, Camtasia, or similar technologies
- High level proficiency in using MS Office suite & web-based conference services such as WebEx, Teams, and similar technologies
