Role Summary
The Director of Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for translating organizational vision into effective, scalable operations. This role ensures operational excellence across the business by driving efficiency, managing resources, developing high-performing teams, and executing initiatives that improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
Lead and optimize day-to-day operations across departments to ensure seamless execution, consistency, and compliance.
Establish operational standards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to monitor performance.
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Financial & Business Management
Develop and manage operating budgets.
Analyze financial and operational data to support forecasting and decision-making.
Partner with finance leadership to support profitability initiatives.
Leadership & Talent Development
Build and develop high-performing teams.
Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Support professional development and succession planning.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Translate strategy into operational plans.
Lead cross-functional initiatives.
Develop policies and procedures aligned to long-term goals.
Technology & Systems Optimization
Oversee ERP, CRM, and workflow systems.
Ensure systems support data-driven decision making.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a trusted operational advisor.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
5+ years of progressive experience in operations management or senior leadership roles with demonstrated success managing budgets, teams, and complex initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
Strategic thinking and execution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.
