Job Summary
- Lead day-to-day facilities operations across maintenance, custodial, grounds, and infrastructure services.
- Serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for campus leadership.
- Drive operational performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring strong financial stewardship.
- Oversee central plant operations, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management strategies.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams focused on service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and execute campus improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in Facilities Management, Plant Operations, Engineering, or related operations environments.
- Experience managing large-scale maintenance, custodial, and grounds operations.
- Strong financial acumen including budget management and P&L responsibility.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated success leading teams, driving results, and exceeding performance goals.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Facilities management experience within higher education, healthcare, large campuses, or similarly complex environments.
- Experience overseeing central plant operations and infrastructure systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent leadership experience.
- Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, LEED, or related credentials are a plus.
