Job Summary

Join a hospitality team that supports the storytellers, innovators, and creators shaping the future of entertainment at Sony Studios. Be part of Wolfgang Puck Catering’s signature standard of warmth, creativity, and elevated service that transforms everyday moments into memorable experiences.

The Sales & Operations Coordinator is an entry-level role that supports Corporate Dining and the events program in delivering exceptional workplace hospitality experiences. This position is responsible for coordinating smaller internal events, assisting with operational execution, and providing logistical support for catering and room service requests.

The primary goal of the role is to build strong relationships with internal clients while removing smaller-scale administrative and operational tasks from senior leadership, allowing them to focus on larger, more complex programs and strategic initiatives. As external catering sales expand, this role will be instrumental in maintaining service quality, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
•    Develop proposals and manage logistics for smaller internal events including happy hours, employee resource group programs, departmental meetings, training, and workplace gatherings.
•    Serve as a point of contact for internal clients, ensuring timely communication, professionalism, and detailed customer service.
•    Coordinate event details including menus, room setups, timelines, and service requirements.
•    Maintain accurate and up to date event documentation within Sony/WPC catering systems.
•    Assist with the planning and execution of smaller-scale catering events to ensure seamless service and delivery.
•    Collaborate with culinary, facilities, and service teams to align event needs with operational capabilities.
•    Provide on-site support during events as needed, including setup coordination, vendor management, and problem solving.
•    Support rental ordering, tracking, and reconciliation for events.
•    Assist with beverage ordering and inventory coordination for internal programs and catered functions.
•    Ensure event documents, materials, equipment, and supplies are organized and prepared in advance.
•    Follow up with clients on event execution and satisfaction.
•    Coordination and support VIP meetings, executive services, and after-hours room service orders.
•    Maintain discretion, professionalism, and elevated hospitality standards when supporting leadership and high-priority requests.
•    Provide administrative assistance to the Catering Sales Manager and Operations Manager including reporting, staffing, and function documentation.
•    Support operational processes that improve efficiency, organization, and service standards across the event operations.
•    Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
•    1–3 years of experience in corporate dining, catering, hospitality, food service, or events preferred.
•    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a client-service mindset.
•    Professional demeanor with the ability to interact confidently with corporate stakeholders and executives.
•    Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
•    Proficiency with office documentation; Catertrax software experience is a plus.
•    Flexibility schedule- available morning, evening, or after-hours service needs.
