Job Summary

Installing and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and valves in commercial and industrial buildings and underground; Includes water supply lines, drainage systems, wastewater treatment, and gas systems, water heaters/boilers, pumps, lift stations, and floats.

Inspecting and diagnosing plumbing systems; Pumps: Booster, Recirculation, Transfer, Influent

Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine

Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques; Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment

Welding, sweat/soldering, brazing, fusing, mechanical or cemented joints;Gas arc cutting

Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints.

Have a clean, neat appearance to visit sites, investigate problems, and conduct tests and make repairs when necessary.

Must be able to operate: Mini EX, Bobcat, Boom/Scissor lift

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial and commercial properties.

Comply with safety guidelines: Due to working with hydraulics, chemicals, steam and ventilation systems, which can be volatile and hazardous
