Job Summary

Our culinary mission is to seamlessly blend art and dining, presenting locally sourced, balanced cuisine that delights our guests. As part of this newly constructed start-up set to open in late spring, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our culinary operations.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and participate in activities of the culinary team to ensure flawless execution
  • Recognized as the technical expert, teacher, and trainer, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Coordinate food purchasing, establish food cost controls, and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure quality, consistency, and creativity are upheld at the highest level while improving the potential of our personnel and resources
  • Drive innovation and showcase creative culinary talent to exceed guest expectations

Technical Requirements:

  • Demonstrate creative and innovative culinary skills while achieving financial goals
  • Teach and emphasize the importance of consistency in preparation and presentation
  • Possess detailed knowledge of safe food handling and preparation techniques
  • Instill safety and sanitation habits in all associates, ensuring a secure working environment
  • Stay current with new products, presentations, and technical execution to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
  • Strong inventory and cost control skills, with the ability to find and implement effective solutions
  • Hold a 2 or 4-year formal culinary degree from an accredited Culinary School
  • Minimum 10 years culinary experience, with 6 years in managerial role at high-quality catering operation

Managerial and Business Skills:

  • Exhibit clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, essential for heavy client interaction
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-mail for effective administrative management
