  • We are hiring immediately for temporary SERVER ASSISTANT positions.
  • Location: Denver Botanic Garden - 1007 York Street Denver, CO 80206 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Temporary schedule; August - October. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview!
  • Requirement: FOH and cashier experience required.
  • Perks: This position receives a guaranteed minimum of $7/hour in tips, though actual tips often exceed this amount!
  • Pay Range: $15.79 per hour

Job Summary

Summary:  Assists servers with various dining room activities.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
  • Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
  • Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
  • Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
    • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
    • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
