Job Summary
Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Catering Server to join our Premium team. This event-based, part-time role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating memorable guest experiences through outstanding hospitality, attention to detail, and seamless event execution.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and professional food and beverage service while exceeding guest expectations.
- Collaborate with culinary and event teams to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery, including accommodating special requests and dietary needs.
- Prepare event spaces before guest arrival by setting tables, rolling silverware, stocking service stations, and ensuring all areas are clean and guest-ready.
- Maintain dining and service areas throughout events, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Anticipate guest needs, answer questions, and provide attentive, personalized service.
- Follow all Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and comply with company food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Support event setup, breakdown, and additional operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, clubs, restaurants, or premium dining environments preferred.
- Previous stadium, arena, entertainment venue, or banquet experience is a plus.
- Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout scheduled shifts.
