Job Summary
Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented event-based part-time Warehouse Attendant to join our Warehouse team. This critical role supports the success of our food and beverage operation by ensuring products, equipment, and supplies are accurately received, stored, inventoried, and distributed throughout the venue. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and efficiency, and is committed to maintaining an organized, safe, and well-stocked warehouse while supporting world-class sporting events, concerts, and entertainment experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Places materials/goods on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates and other containers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in food and beverage, hospitality, stadium/arena operations, hotels, clubs, or full-service restaurants preferred.
- Valid TABC Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and inventory control skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to effectively support multiple departments.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic mathematical and inventory tracking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout scheduled shifts.
- Safely load, unload, and transport products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Work in various environments, including refrigerated storage areas, loading docks, and event spaces.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and safely maneuver inventory throughout the facility.
