Job Summary
Summary: Performs cashiering duties. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service and dining room facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
- Enters all sales into the point of sale to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Follows standard procedures for issuing refunds.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Ensures all areas of the restaurant are stocked prior to opening for lunch each day.
- This includes, but is not limited to, service ware, condiments, beverages, grab and go items, snacks and candy.
- Maintains cleanliness of the front of house at all times following sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all local health codes pertaining to food safety
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or manager
