Job Summary
As Sous Chef at the Chargers Training Facility, you’ll play a critical leadership role within a high-volume production kitchen supporting daily operations and large-scale catering and events. This is a hands-on position for a disciplined, organized culinary leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in consistency, execution, and team development. Schedules will flex based on production and event needs, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities

Lead daily production for catering and event programs, ensuring quality, consistency, and execution at scale

Support and supervise kitchen teams across day, evening, and weekend shifts

Execute menus to Wolfgang Puck Catering standards, following recipes, portioning, and presentation guidelines

Ensure all food handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation meet HACCP, company, and health department standards

Partner with the Executive Chef on production planning, prep schedules, and event execution

Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls with accurate documentation

Train, coach, and develop culinary team members, promoting accountability and teamwork

Collaborate with operations and event teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in high-volume catering, banquet, or production kitchen environments

Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, multi-event setting

Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and food quality

Culinary degree or formal training preferred, or equivalent professional experience

ServSafe certification preferred

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends based on event demands
