Job Summary

At Ryan Field, Levy is building a world-class game day and event experience.and this role is instrumental in creating memorable moments for guests, donors, season ticket holders, sponsors, and visitors.

The Premium Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and creating memorable guest experiences within premium suites, clubs, and VIP hospitality areas. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, product knowledge, professionalism, and operational excellence. The Premium Bartender serves as a brand ambassador, building relationships with guests and contributing to a first-class premium experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, standards, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality by proactively engaging guests and anticipating their needs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and premium beverage offerings.
  • Recommend beverages and upsell premium products to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure all guests are properly identified and served in compliance with local, state, and company alcohol service regulations.
  • Accurately process transactions and maintain accountability for cash, credit card, and point-of-sale system operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area before, during, and after events.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors.
  • Follow portion control and product handling procedures to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with suite attendants, servers, culinary staff, and supervisors to ensure seamless service.
  • Respond professionally and effectively to guest concerns, resolving issues or escalating when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and event-related operational responsibilities.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience, experience in premium hospitality, luxury venues, sports and entertainment venues, hotels, or private clubs preferred.
  • Valid alcohol service certification (BASSET, ServSafe Alcohol) as required.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Consistently delivers exceptional guest service and hospitality.
  • Maintains compliance with responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Demonstrates product knowledge and effective upselling techniques.
  • Maintains cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of assigned bar areas.
  • Contributes positively to team culture and premium guest satisfaction metrics.
