Overview

The Regional Vice President (RVP) will lead, support, and inspire a high-performing team of senior leaders across Canteen’s operations in Oregon and Washington. This strategic role sets the cultural tone for the region, drives operational excellence, and fosters long-term client partnerships in diverse industries including technology, healthcare, and education.

As a key member of the national leadership team, the RVP will oversee a portfolio of micro-markets, vending, and office coffee services. You’ll be responsible for translating national strategy into regional execution, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring financial and service excellence. This role demands a visionary leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, while cultivating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and accountability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Regional Directors and District Managers to deliver exceptional service and results
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple industries
  • Drive regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for client needs and strategic decisions
  • Partner with Sales and Retention teams to grow business and renew contracts
  • Champion innovation and sustainability aligned with Pacific Northwest values
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, QA, and reporting requirements
  • Foster a culture of safety, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Invest in talent development through coaching, succession planning, and performance management
  • Monitor market trends and contribute to national strategic planning

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or 10+ years of progressive leadership in multi-unit foodservice, hospitality, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Extensive experience leading large, diverse teams across multiple locations
  • Proven track record of business growth and financial performance
  • Strong client relationship and contract negotiation skills
  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail and operational execution
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels
  • Inclusive, professional, and resilient leadership style
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Oregon and Washington
