Belmont Park is a major thoroughbred horse racing facility located in Queens, NY. Originally built in 1805, Belmont Park is operated by New York Racing Association alongside several partners including Levy. Attracting thousands of guests every season, Belmont Park will host world class events such as the 2027 Belmont Stakes and the 2027 Breeders Cup.

Event based when there is live racing at Belmont Park. This role requires availability weekly Thursday-Sunday, with average shift times from 9am-6pm. View the racing schedule here.

  • Please arrive at least 1 hour before the session ends. The hiring process can take up to 1 hour to

• Driving? Parking is available in the outdoor surface lots. Enter from Rockaway Boulevard or Aqueduct Road
  through the main gates, then follow signs to the Resorts World casino entrance or the Aqueduct Racetrack
  grandstand.
• Taking the train? Exit at the Aqueduct–North Conduit Avenue station onto North Conduit Avenue. Walk east
  toward Cohancy Street, turn left onto the sidewalk, and continue past the stable gates and across the outdoor
  parking lot to the main building

Job Summary

Team members hired into this role will not be assigned to a single workstation or restaurant. Work locations will vary by shift based on business needs, and assignments may include both Bartender and Service Bartender positions. A current ServSafe Alcohol certification is required. 

Summary:   Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
• Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
