Job Summary
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading the on-site team and overseeing all aspects of the location’s performance, including delivering premium guest experience, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality, and driving strong financial results. The ideal candidate is a polished, hospitality-first food and beverage leader with a background in fine dining or high-end restaurant environments, experience opening and scaling restaurants, and a foundation in established hospitality training programs. This role requires a proven coach who brings out the best in people, consistently drives operational excellence, and has hands-on experience managing high-volume catering and special events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field
- 5+ leadership experience in premium or fine dining environments
- High level of computer literacy
- Experience working with VIP clientele and luxury service expectations
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Detailed Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee location operations; primarily premium services including clubs, suites, catering and VIP areas
- Ensure premium service standards and attention to detail at all touchpoints
- Implement training programs for service excellence and brand standards
- Overseeing season planning process ensuring alignment with Levy and partner expectations/goals
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize premium revenue and guest satisfaction
- Collaborating with culinary leadership and partners to drive menu development and associated operational enhancements
- Communicates client’s needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications to ensure internal understanding/compliance and external guest’s expectation of services
- Leading the continual development of the location’s food story and guest experience
- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Conducting event walks interacting with team members, guests, partners and VIPs
- Foster relationships with high-profile guests and stakeholders
- Proactively coaching and motivating managers and team members to deliver their best
- Completing corrective action, where necessary, to hold team members accountable and improve future performance
- Conducting manager meetings to engage, inform and build alignment
- Responding to emails, phone calls and any associated administrative work corresponding with role responsibilities
- Overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sanitation in all activities across the location
- Representing Levy and our business objectives at partner meetings, networking and building relationships with key partners and vendors
- Building a strong partnership with locations partners
- Working with regional and Home Office leadership to drive innovation and best practices at the location
- Delivering against our financial goals and budgets
- Planning budget and P&L management to support optimal financial achievement
- Other duties as assigned
